"Winds of war" - Ukraine Crisis in 2014

Lies, blackmail and fears. March 2014: in the streets of the major Ukrainian cities of the East, some pro-Russian supporters gather to protect the statues of Lenin, after killing and damage to many more in the rest of the country. In a very short time become real principals, from which will be born of permanent occupations, intended to take complete control of the city, with the full connivance of the police and city administrators. In the next months the whole region of Donbass, the southeastern part of the country on the border with Russia, will fall under the control of pro-Russian separatist authorities, quickly become a real army. Checkpoints on main roads, armed individuals guarding all public buildings, barracks and post offices. Protest marches smothered in blood, patrols of thugs patrolling the streets and armed militias to hold positions of public policy. Ukraine is held in check by a new threat, this time, comes from the east. Thus began the anti-terrorist operation Ukrainian government army, indirectly supported by NATO forces which, on several occasions, the newly elected President Poroshenko asks for help. But poorly armed and disorganized, the government army is trapped in the countryside and in the suburbs of major cities goal, staging small night battles or sporadic attacks daytime.
