WORLD ROWING CUP II VARESE, ITALY, JUNE 16-18, 2023

On a late spring day, the World Rowing National Teams challenge each other on the waters of Varese Lake for the second stage of the World Rowing Cup.
In the Schiranna Park, near Varese Lido, an athletes' village has been set up and under the colored tents of the various teams, the oar champions pedal on stationary bikes, train on the rowing machines or go stretching in the shade of the ancient trees.
In the rowing boat transport trolleys the long, thin boats glisten in the sun and the technicians carry out the latest maintenance.
It runs for three days, the athletes of the Paralympic national teams compete on the same distances and in the same program as the Olympic specialties and everyone aspires to medals, many are already thinking of the Belgrade World Championship and with this the first Olympic passes.
Then complete European teams, as well as Australia, China, the USA and Canada, who challenge each other by rowing.
The joy of victory that repays the many sacrifices, the embrace of the supporters and the great desire to row for the seven hundred athletes who came from all over the world on the waters of Lake Varese.
